James Cummins was born in the Middle East of Irish parents in 1981 and has been writing poetry for the past 10 years. After school he went to Dartington College of Arts in Devon and received a BA/Hons in performance writing for his trouble. Since then he has been around the world and back again and now is settled in Cork. In April 2005 he started a small Cork based poetry magazine called DEFAULT.
